Which Type?
Savoir Bedding supplies a range of duvets with different properties. Which is right for you will depend on what you are looking for, but each is excellent. What we are sure of is that natural high quality materials give the best results. Sleeping with synthetics and chemicals just isn’t natural!

Summer
For summer use, nothing can compare with our silk filled duvets, which breathe very well and feel wonderfully light. They can be attached to a medium or heavy weight cashmere or camel duvet to provide combinations for all seasons.

Winter
For winter use, it depends a little more on your personal preferences. If you like to snuggle up under a bulky, puffed up duvet, then down is an excellent choice. If, on the other hand, you prefer a light weight duvet which will dress the bed in a sleeker way while keeping you warm, then cashmere or camel hair filled duvets could be the solution. Cashmere is the ultimate in terms of performance, providing the greatest warmth for the lowest weight. Camel is a little heavier. Both can be attached to summer weight silk duvets.

Perspiration
For those of us who sweat (or glow!) in bed, the cashmere, camel or silk duvets breathe exceptionally well, and whip moisture away from your body allowing you to sleep in comfort.

Allergies
The cashmere, camel and silk duvets are excellent for allergy sufferers. They are naturally resistant to micro-organisms and also do not tend to collect dust, unlike feather and down. Unlike synthetic duvets, our cashmere, camel and silk duvets breathe very well.

Sizes
The standard duvet sizes and the beds they fit on are listed below. Duvets are bigger than the beds they fit so there is a possibility of using a different size. Some clients, for example, with a big bed (say a super king) chose a smaller duvet (a king, for example) if they do not want it to hang down too far, perhaps covering an attractive frame. Thus a double duvet could work on a king size bed, and a king size duvet could work on a super king sized bed. You will probably want your duvet to be a minimum of 16” / 40cm wider than your bed, and a little longer. Do make sure the duvet fits your duvet covers too! Also note, you can expect variations between manufacturers, so the cover and be a little bigger or smaller than the duvet.
