The Savoir No1 Bed is made without compromise to create the most sumptuous night’s sleep available. Every part of this bed is beautifully crafted and detailed. Add to this suede upholstery, macassar ebony trim, and a hand slipped mattress case with matching suede handles and tufts.
Box Spring
- Hardwood beech frame, with traditional dovetail joints
- Independent hour glass springs, 9” / 22.5cm
- Hand tied, eight way star lashed interlinking
- Traditional hand tied cane edge together with stitched hair roll edge, hand tufted loose hair upholstery top filling
Mattress
- Hand tied, 7.5 turn pocket springs
- Masses of hand laid loose long horse tail, with cotton & wool
- Hand slipped piped closure, hand side stitched, with high tech natural stretch fabric top
The construction and exceptional finishing is naturally a skilled and time consuming, job, with each No1 Bed, depending on size, taking one of our master craftsmen several weeks to complete.
